Akai, Tsume~

I flinched as a looked at my horrible aim. It had taken me five minutes to find the five shuriken I had just thrown.
"Stupid wind", I muttered as I pulled the shuriken out of the tree. A turned and looked at Appuru, her large brown eyes bored into me in that way that just made me want to.... hug something?
I shook my head and turned back to the shuriken. They were in deep. Sighing, I hung my head for a moment, before lashing out and swiping all the shuriken from the tree in a quick movement.
I felt a movement behind me and held up my hand quickly.
Appuru whined unhappily, she hated it when I told her to be quiet. Being quiet for was like wearing a dress for me. It was the worst possible punishment. And it was much easier for me to bestow it on her than it ever will for someone trying to get me into a dress.
"No, if your going to comment make sure your <i>not</i> going to say something annoying", I glared at her, and she stared back with her big eyes.
She snorted, then sat up and padded over to me, her tail and head lowered. I smiled and picked her up,"That's better".
Appuru barked happily and licked my face.
"H-hey! Stop", I said, laughing.

"Ugh, when will this wind stop?", I mumbled, sitting in a tree. Appuru barked and snuggled deeper into my hood. "Wish I could do that", I muttered,"Whoa! Hey! Oof!". A stuck my arms out and tried to re-balance myself as the wind tried to push my off the tree. "Ouch!", A sat up, slightly stunned,"Great, just like me to fall out of a tree".
"Your squishing me", Appuru squeaked from under me.
"Oh, sorry", I stood up and took her into my arms.

[Kuragari]

Watching the Leaf Ninja struggle in the wind, a wolf glared. Her black markings stood out from grey pelt. Covering her eyes was a cream coloured beanie. She was bulky and strong and classified as a Missing-Nin. Leaf Ninja were her number one enemies. But she figured she would have to help them out sometime to regain their trust. Lifting her head to the heavens, she bellowed a howl that forced the wind to stop instantly. She jumped down and stood infront of the shinobi, watching her get up. The last strands of wind wisping through her fur.
"Learn to be more careful, Leaf Ninja," she growled, lowering her head. The wind had stopped and she went into a fighting stance of a wolf.
Tail erect and teeth bared. She was not going to let her own guard down.

Akai, Tsume~

I stared at the wolf, and bemused expression on my face. "Why are you wearing a beanie?", Appuru asked like it was the stupidest thing she had ever seen. Which it probably was. I dropped her on the ground,"She's a ninja doofus".
I turned to look at her again. Great, she wanted to fight. But I was going to ignore that. If she wanted to fight, I would, but she was going to attack first.
"I'm careful enough. It's not my fault ignorant ninjas decide to use stupid Jutsus like that", I growled, glaring at her.
She was a bulky wolf, obviously strong. But I'd tackled with wolves before. Even if it was years ago with pups. It wasn't that hard once you got used to it.
I spread my feet slightly, preparing myself for attack, while Appuru growled.

[Kuragari]

Noticing the pup beside her, Kura seemed to slightly smile. She was some-what apart of the Inuzuka Clan, that dog worshippers. This would be an easy fight in the trees, but they were both on the ground, how was she going to get them into the trees. Thinking to herself, she thought of it. She turned back to them and smiled softly. She relieved her fighting stance and jumped up into the trees. Lookinf down on them, a glimmer of her eyes appeared. They were a deep purple with a red tinge. She seemed amused for once, going up againt this Ninja.
"Come on Inzuka, you can fight in the trees right?" she taunted, hoping she would gain the upper hand.
Kura could remember from her earliest days fighting with the Inzuka Clan over food and other things. She was always pushed aside but she would not let this happen again. Life back then wasn't easy, she a was little pup with a tormenting past but now she had her reasons to attack and feel merciless.
Opening her jaws, she let a fearsome bellow, showing who was boss.

Akai, Tsume~

Umm, what is wrong with this dog?I stared up at her like she was crazy, then called out,"And the point of that would be? To give you the upper hand? I'm not stupid you know".
Wow she has good balance for a wolf I frowned and went over a couple of ideas in my head. She smelled like wolf, and human and anger and a bunch of other stuff that would take too long to sort through. And she couldn't make this easy for my because....?
I sighed and looked at Appuru,"Help me out here?".
Appuru just stared back.
Great, when I need her to talk she has nothing to say.

[Kuragari]

'Well, I guess she isn't stupid after all, I wonder.'
Kura jumped back down and sat, her tail curling around her body. The wind had begun to slowly pick back up. It wisped through her fur. She thought that if this shinobi was going to live, she might as well inform her of why she is going to.
"Listen up, Leaf Ninja. I'm going to tell you a little story about myself and probably your Clan," she said calmly, looking up to the sky spacingly,"You see, I was once apart of Kumogakure, the Land of Lightning. I wasn't born there but it was there that my parents raised me. I knew we would be happy together when ANBU assasinated them. I escaped with my life but I was alnoe for the rest of my years. It was until I met a Ninja from your village known as Itachi Uchiha. He adopted me but kept me hidden from the rest of the village. that was until that night that he attacked his family. I promised him I'd stay and I didn't have much of a choice. I had to protect the village and its Hokage," she said, making sure the Leaf Ninja took everything in. It was hard for shinobi not born in the time you were to understand.
"Not long after the Chunin Exams, i began to feel a little violent towards others, some how feeling that this village had something to do with my past. It was then that I found out what had happened. I ran amok, hurting many things and people. It was your Clan that had to track and bring me down in one of my rages. they brought me down eventually and learned that i was not always a wolf my whole life. Soon after, I left and was soon classified as a Missing -Nin. I'm still hunted down today in fact," she finished, looking upon the Leaf Ninja again.
Her pup seemed speechless as I finished.

Akai, Tsume~

I stared at her,"And the point of that was? My Clan had to track you down? What's your point?".
I honestly didn't get it. That made no sense. There wasn't anything amazing in that. I grew up with wolves. Not many things amazed me anymore.
"Look, I grew up with wolves. This doesn't exactly amaze me, doesn't make me pity you. Doesn't even make me batter an eyelash. So yeah, explain please, the point of this".
Appuru snorted and started sniffed at a bush in bored way.
Okay, so there is a point, that I'm not getting. Gah, I hate not getting things. Damn this wolf. Wait, a missing-nin. Oh, how fun, this is just brilliant. I glared at Appuru. She looked up at me innocently, and said softly,"What?".
"Stop being useless and get over here", I grumbled.

[Kuragari]

"Well, to make it easy for you since you are still learning, judging by your poor accuracy skills", she sneered, rising to her feet and making her tail erect, "Your Clan brought me down and I'm a Missing-Nin. Wouldn't it seem obivious I'd get revenge?"
Kura roared and darted for the Leaf Ninja, hoping she wouldn't see pup react before her. It was her intention to get to the pup first.971

Akai, Tsune~

I scooped up Appuru and bolted into a tree. Breatheing hard I stared down at her,"So, you hate me cause my half clan was doing their duty? That's pretty harsh. I don't hate the clan of the guy who killed my parents, and it was his choice.".
I plucked out some shurikens, ready for use, while Appuru climbed into it hood again.
This won't be fun I looked around fir an escape but... Training Grounds? What escape was there here?
I sighed and just kept on moving, since that was my best chance.

[Kuragari]

Landing on the branch, she sat and listened. Her ears were scanning for her laboured breathing and the pup's mournful whines. This kid didn't get it, she ran to save herself but they tracked her down and brought her back to interregate her. But what would a young Leaf Ninja understand about her elders.
"Found you little puppy," she sneered and howled loudly, making the wind whip around the trees like a tornado.
Placing one paw on the trunk beside her, charka surged and sent shock waves, making earthquakes start and the area tremble. If this Leaf Ninja was going to escape, it would be with her life.

[Tousou]

Akai, Tsume~

"Damn it", I wobble slightly and cluched the tree trunk. I could smell her but couldn't quite put myaim on where she was. Stupid wind. "Now what? Appuru, help me out here", I lturned my head to try and get a look at Appuru but she only whined,"Great, and I got in this position how. Ugh, I need a rabbits foot or something, maybe that will get me more luck. Where am I?".
I looked around but the training grounds all looked the same to me.
If only she would stop with this damn wind. What is the point anyway, I can't get a hold on what her weakness or strength is. This is all useless.
I took a breathe and dodged out of the tree and into a bush.
And I'm not a puppy.

[Kuragari]

Placing a paw on the tree trunk again, something sent her flying off it. She slammed her back into a tree and fell to the ground. she looked around franaticly, who or what was that?
"Hey! Is this your doing?" Kura bellowed and saw and oncoming kunia. She darted out of the way.
She soon saw ninja surrounding her. Her body temperature dropped dangerously. Where did they come from? Did the Leaf Ninja do this? She soon realised they weren't from the village. They were enemies, and they thought Kura was a Leaf Ninja. She soon thought of the Leaf Ninja. Her mind racing, she saw an opening and bolted for it, kicking dirt up.

Akai, Tsume~

Uh? She left, just like that?, I peered at her as she disappeared, then turned back to where she had been and gulped. Ninja, and they weren't from Leaf Village.
"Well this isn't good, and I'm not staying away to find out what happens, got to warn someone".
Tiger, I quickly put my hands in that position and muttered under my breathe,"Beast Human Clone".
I felt the bones in my body change shape and fur grow on my face.
"Ouch!", Appuru grumble.
"Sorry, I forgot to warn you", I turned to face her. It was weird, seeing with most colours gone, but I was used to it,"Let's go".
Don't mind me. I'm just a puppy, I thought sourly to myself as I snuck past the ninjas. As soon as they were out of my sight I bolted, Appuru following close behind me.

[Kuragari]

Kura rebounded off a tree and followed the Leaf Pup. He scent was strong but she was slightly slower now she realised. Bounding over fallen logs, she raced past animals and leapy in front of the Leaf.
"We might have had our differences before but that doesn't mean we can work together. Besides, for a young Inuzuka, your pretty fast for your age," she said, trying to regain her breath.
Kura fur was now becoming more of a mess then it was. She knew that this Leaf would disagree but with the circumstances as they were, she would have no choice.index.cgi

I stared at her,"So now you want us to fight together?". I sat down and looked up at her. Appuru sat down next to me and looked at her also,"What makes you think that I want to fight them anyway".
But you do, my Oh-So-Smart side reminded me.
Shut up, I told myself.
