"KID!" Kura roared and leapt down.
Blood was pouring out of the gash in her head. She looked around and noticed something in the bushes. She growled, bristling her fur wildly. hse barked loudly and it vanished. She looked back at Tsume and nudged her on her back.
"Appuru, do you think you could lead the way back... she needs a doc and fast!" she pleaded.

I nodded and started back to the village at a run.
Who was that?, I thought, worried,They really freaked Tsu out.
I stopped at the village and turned to Kura,"You ok with going in, considering your a missing-nin and all".

"Oh please, they've only seen me as a wolf."
Kura lightly dropped Tsume and transformed into a human again. She swayed a bit, feeling sick as but helped Tsume no matter. She asked for help and doctors rushed to her aid. they helped Tsume but got fretty over Kura. They began examining her but she growled quite lowly and they back off.
Few weeks later, Kura arrived back, going to see Tsume again. She hadn't seen her for weeks, things had been up that she would rather keep a well hidden secret. She walked into Tsume's room and sat down.

Akai, Tsume~
I blinked my eyes open and stared at the fluffy ball on my stomach,"Get off me Appuru, your not the lightest thing in the world".
Appuru woofed a greeting, licked my face, then curled back up.
I snorted and looked at the person sitting in the room,"Kura? Hey! Umm, did you gain weight or something? How long have I been out, the nurses won't tell me".

"I've been away doing some things...... moaning about my past life and the future. You've been out a week, and Fur Ball there has been with you the whole time," Kura said, smiling happily, before looking out side the window.
It was raining softly, not too heavy and not too light either. The scare on her arm was visible still. She then sighed and pulled out a photo. She got up and handed it to Tsume.
"This was me when I was with Appatema last, the day before he was killed," she said, turning towards the door, "I'll be back in a while, don't go and kill yourself while I'm gone," she said with a smile.
Walking down the steps, she ran into a doctor. He glanced at her and saw her arm. He flinched but continued to walk on. Kura glanced at him, her heart beating fast when a nurse pounced on her.
"Oh my, when are they due my dear? You can't escape a person with eyes like mine," she said, quite loudly.
Kura's eyes flashed and she shoved her away. A deep growl weeled in her throat, but she surpressed the urge.

Akai, Tsume~
I glanced at her as she left then looked at the photo. A younger version of Kura stood smiling at me. In her arms was a small grey and white, what looked to be an akita, puppy.
"Oh my!", someone said from outside, I looked over at the door,'When are they due dear? You can't escape a person with eyes like mine".
I heard a growl that sounded very much like Kura. I gapped at the door for a second, then closed my mouth. What was the shock?

Sitting outside, enjoying the rain, she growled at the thought of the nurse. She so wished, with everything in her heart, she could permantely shut down people but it wasn't a choice she had offered. Looking up at the sky, she noticed that the clouds looked too much like Appratema. Her eyes, hidden still, seemed to gleam.
"I miss you too buddy, but somethings aren't always going to go the way we plan. I miss you too, all of you."
She soon noticed the presence of another person. It was the doctor. He had the guts to come up to her after all.
"Excuse me Miss, may I please look at your arm. Something about it seems rather unusual. I'm not saying that your in danger...... but I knew a girl who had that same mark when she was younger. may I please?" he asked politely.
Kura smiled softly and held out her arm. she flinched as his cold hands touched them.
"Nevermind, I'm sorry to have bothered you young Miss. Also, would you like me to punish the nurse?" he asked.
Kura shook her head and got to her feet.

I sat up and looked around. There was nothing in the room,"What does it take to get a book around here".
I pouted and stood up, then opened the cupboard. There were my clothes and wepons. I closed the doors and opened the draw in the drawer next to my bed. Empty.
"Hmm", I climbed back in to bed and thought for a moment.

"Don't worry, I hated being in hospital as well, except, I wasn't allowed to mpve, I always had to be watched," Kura said, holding a bag of food.
She set it on the table beside her and sat on the bed near Appuru. She stroked her head and looked at the picture.
"I guess I looked cute huh? Somtimes... I wished I saw my parents again. But then again, I was treated like bad influence to every kid around me when I came here. But I remember when I was alone, I always turned to the Inuzuka Clan. They always protected me and taught me most techniques. My arm was beaten up by older kids when somebody protected it me. It was Hana Inuzuka," she said, with a slight pause.

I reached for the food, then looked up stunned. My hand flopped to my side and I just gaped. I hadn't heard that name in a long time. No one ever mentioned her around me.
"Yeah, she was a nice person".

Kura looked at her and smiled.
"When my mentor was away on missions, I stayed with her, watching everything she did. She taught me most Jutsu i know now but most are one required with a Nin-Hound like Appuru. Sadly, I left before I could say goodbye. Did you know her?" Kura asked, laying back on the bed.

"She was your sensai?", I frowned wondering if I should tell her, I remembered what the nurse had said, and how kind she'd been to me,"Yeah, I knew her. She was my mom".

Kura looked at her, stunned. She sat up and just stared. This was Hana's daughter? That was impossible, when did she ever habe a daughter.
"Hana was your mother? No way," Kura whispered slightly.
She couldn't believe. But she thought of something, she had saved her from death so she guessed she returned the favour.
"I got Appartema from the Inzuka Clan.... years before becoming a Ninja."971

From the Inuzuka clan..."Appuru was an orphan, a stray I guess they call them".

Kura smiled and got to her feet and left for the door. She turned and smiled to Tsume.
"Don't stay in here too long, you'll turn into a zombie," she laughed and walked down the stairs.
Walking outside the hospital, she turned and smiled before vanishing.
